Over forty years of work experience includes the following:
Detailed Engineering Experience: Scope of work, design criteria, assigning and supervising personnel for design and drafting task, checking, specifications, detailed design, drawings review, and issuance of contract documents.
Field Engineering Experience: Inspecting civil/structural work, performing construction layout and establishing controls for elevation and alignment, procuring testing services, evaluating field procedures, and coordinating design engineering, construction, and operations.
Fabrication Experience: Detail design of connections, stairs and handrails - use of both ASD & LFRD procedures, ANSI/NAAMM.
Construction Experience: Contract administration, coordination of contractors and with operations / production, procuring material and services, bid package preparation, bidder selection, and bid evaluation.
Experience in SOFTWARE PROGRAMS includes: STADD, STRUDL, SAP, ANSYS, AutoCAD 2000 and a variety of utility programs. I am also experienced in the use of the following design and building codes: ACI-318, AISC, AWS, ANSI, ASTM, UBC, BOCA and STANDARD to name a few.
